We’ve heard your feedback, and we are updating our iOS app for the iPhone. Today’s release of the newest app, version 2.0.8, includes a number of updates to features offered to those of you using Phone Swipe on an iPhone.
Sales Trends Updates
Updated design for reporting, including a new Sales Trends screen to provide a simple way to see your sales.
Compare sales from week-to-week; find out your top categories and items; see if your customers prefer to pay with cash or credit; and more.
According to a survey by Consumer Credit:
- 80 percent of respondents use their debit card to pay for everyday purchases such as gas, meals and groceries. Even more surprising,
- 100 percent of 18 to 24-year olds report using their debit card for everyday purchases.
- Although cash becomes more apparent for large purchases, of the 39 percent who do use credit cards for large purchases, 58 percent of these people do so because they cannot afford to make a large purchase at the time, but hope to pay it off when the bill comes.

Seeing your sales in an effective manner is also an important feature. Tracking how much you have sold of each item over time helps to effectively change price points and inventory around your inventory. With the right management, made easy by Phone Swipe, small changes turn small businesses into larger ones.
Menu Updates
Updated design for easy access to Sell, Inventory, Sales Trends, Transactions, and Settings.
